How to Mark a System Out of Service

HOW TO MARK A SYSTEM OUT OF SERVICE

Google Chrome is the browser that best supports TCE.  Internet Explorer will not be supported by Microsoft after January 1st, 2021.

 

Reasons to mark systems “out of service” – renovation situation; unforeseen shutdown.

 

Step 1: Click on the “Premises” icon located in the top blue bar. 


Step 2: Type the address into the address box to locate the premises where you wish to mark a system “out of service.”  Once the address populates, click on the bolded address.


Step 3: Scroll down the page, to locate “Premises Profile List.” The list of systems located at this premises will be listed here. Select the bolded system you wish to mark “out of service.”


Step 4: Click on “Edit.”



Step 5: Mark the “Out of Service” checkbox. It will make you enter a “Return to Service Date.” There is also a “Service Notes” box that you can enter the reason for marking the system out of service if you wish.

A = Mark the “Out of Service” checkbox.

= Enter a “Return to Service” date.

= Enter a note about why you are marking it “out of service.”


Step 6: Click on “Update” to save the changes made.
